The Colombian Professional Basketball League 2025-II enters a crucial weekend that will decide the teams classified for the second phase.

Four exciting matches will take place, defining who will continue in the title race.

Fans will be able to follow all the action live through the Colombian Olympic Committee Facebook page. The expectation is maximum, especially at the bottom of the table, where the last places are at stake.

Currently, Toros del Valle dominates the national league with an impressive record of 21 points, the product of nine wins in 12 games.

They are closely followed at the top of the table: Paisas, Caimanes del Llano and Caribbean Storm, all tied with 17 units.

The fight is concentrated in the intermediate positions, where Sabios de Manizales occupies fifth place with 15 points in ten games, surpassing Cimarrones del Chocó, which has the same 15 units but in 12 games.

Motilones del Norte closes the list of teams in contention with 12 points in seventh place.

The decisive day begins this Friday, November 7, with two high-voltage confrontations.

Key weekend defines the future of the Colombian Basketball League 2025-II

At 6:15 in the afternoon, at the Iván de Bedout Coliseum in Medellín, Paisas will face Motilones del Norte.

Later, at 8:15 p.m., the action will move to the Álvaro Mesa Amaya Coliseum in Villavicencio for the match between Caimanes del Llano and Sabios de Manizales.

These results will be decisive for the aspirations of several teams.

The match between Paisas and Motilones has a special dramatic charge. Motilones del Norte’s permanence in the league hangs by a thread, since a defeat this Friday would imply its immediate elimination from the national tournament.

According to the format of the first phase, only the first two teams advance directly to the semifinals, while those between third and sixth place will compete in the Play-In phase to define the other semifinalists.

The first phase will close on Saturday, with the return duels between the same protagonists. At 6:15 pm, Caimanes del Llano and Sabios de Manizales will meet again, this time in the capital of Meta.

Finally, at 8:15 pm, the Iván de Bedout Coliseum in the capital of Antioquia will witness the second confrontation between Paisas and Motilones del Norte, which could be the last of the Motilones in the championship.
