The San José University Foundation announced this Friday, November 7, the official annulment of Juliana Guerrero’s university degrees, after an internal investigation confirmed the total non-existence of academic records in the programs that the official took.
The institution explained, through an official statement, that the Board of Directors made the decision after exhausting the due disciplinary process, which began on September 25, when alleged irregularities were detected in the processing of Guerrero’s academic title.
According to the document, the review of the institutional systems did not reveal any record of academic activity, participation in classes or evaluations on the virtual platform, both in the Accounting and Tax Management Technology program and in the Public Accounting program.

Since September, the university had informed the public about the detection of irregularities in the processing of the academic title of Juliana Guerrero, who represents the administration of President Gustavo Petro at the Popular University of Cesar.
On that same date, the institution announced criminal and disciplinary actions against some managers and the opening of an internal investigation to determine the institutional gaps that allowed this event to occur.
