Minute30.com.- A new scandal hits the government of Gustavo Petro and once again related to the former vice minister of youth who would have falsified her diplomas, since she did not even attend classes at the San José Foundation but she did go on a police plane to the University of Cesar.
The Comptroller General of the Republic has uncovered a corruption scandal by determining an alleged financial loss of $213 million pesos due to the improper use of public resources. The former official identified is Juliana Guerrero, who was working in the Ministry of the Interior at the time of the events.
The Comptroller’s Office established that Juliana Guerrero used National Police aircraft to carry out personal trips. The irregularity took place in five flights that were destined for the Universidad del Cesar, without any justification or purpose related to their functions within the ministerial portfolio.
The amount of $213 million pesos corresponds to the fuel expense for these five trips. The seriousness of the case increases with allegations that Juliana Guerrero not only falsified her diplomas but also abused the treasury by traveling on official planes for personal matters.
The control body concluded that these events constitute a serious fiscal finding due to the unjustified use of State assets and resources for personal purposes and has initiated the corresponding fiscal responsibility processes.
