A moving display of human solidarity was experienced in Bogotá, where several citizens spontaneously joined together to save a little dog that had fallen into a pipe and was being dragged by the force of the current.

Neighbors and passersby who witnessed the emergency did not hesitate to put aside their daily rush to organize an improvised rescue operation. They formed a human chain, risking their own safety, to reach the little animal that was struggling to stay afloat.

The action was described by witnesses as heroic. Coordination and citizen commitment allowed the dog to finally be rescued from the water, placed safely on dry land and delivered to safe hands.
