Minute30.com .- The early morning of January 31 became a nightmare for the inhabitants of the Loreto sector, in the east of Medellín. At 1:20 in the morning, a brutal act of intolerance and domestic violence initially left a 27-year-old young man struggling between life and death, until early this Sunday he died, after his romantic partner brutally attacked him, when she was allegedly in a state of intoxication.

According to witnesses and family members, in the midst of a heated argument, the woman – preliminarily identified by the community as “Laura” – allegedly doused the house with gasoline with the young man still inside. He then set fire to the structure and fled the scene, leaving behind a scene of horror.

Critical health status: They cry out for justice

The young man was helped by neighbors and rushed to a high-complexity care center. Apparently the flames compromised a large part of his body, and his prognosis is reserved due to the severity of the second and third degree burns.

Relatives and friends of the victim have started a campaign through social networks to find the whereabouts of the alleged aggressor. “We ask that this not go unpunished. She left him locked up so that he could burn alive,” say those close to the young man, who died this morning.
