The Manizales authorities were informed about the discovery of two fetuses in the El Jazmín neighborhood.
Upon arriving at the scene, personnel from the Police and the CTI (Technical Investigation Corps) carried out technical inspections of the bodies, which still had their respective umbilical cords.
They were two male fetuses, approximately seven to eight months pregnant, inside a bag, which was found in a mountain of garbage.
The discovery was made by passersby who, while passing by the place, noticed the suspicious bag and immediately alerted the authorities.

The first investigations focus on determining whether the fetuses were victims of an abortion or if the event is related to another type of criminal act.
The authorities have also begun a search of the sector’s security cameras, seeking to identify those responsible for leaving the bodies at the site.

The wooded area where the bag was found is close to a company in the sector, which has facilitated access to recordings that could provide key data for the investigation.
