In a forceful joint operation, the National Police and the Military Forces dealt a severe blow to drug trafficking structures by destroying 49 laboratories for cocaine processing in different regions of the country. The offensive, carried out in seven departments, also allowed the seizure of 1.6 tons of cocaine and a large amount of supplies and machinery used by criminal groups.
According to the authorities, the dismantled complexes belonged to networks linked to the ELN and Clan del Golfo cartels, who used these infrastructures for the production, collection and distribution of narcotics both within the national territory and on international routes.

The authorities highlighted that the coup not only limits the production capacity of these networks, but also reduces their logistical power and territorial influence in rural areas where they exercised control.
With this operation, the security forces continue to weaken the criminal structures that support the drug trafficking economy, reaffirming their offensive against the armed groups that threaten the security and stability of the country.
