According to the investigation, the accused forcibly entered the victim’s home after the breakup. He began to physically attack her and verbally threaten her. Subsequently, he moved her to his own home, where the abuse continued, and in the process he even injured her with a sharp weapon, according to the Prosecutor’s Office report.
The quick intervention of family members made it possible to protect the victim and alert the authorities. Thanks to this action, the National Police captured the aggressor in flagrante delicto in the Mariano Ramos neighborhood of Cali.
