In a fact that has surprised the uniformed officers of the town of Usme, a 61-year-old adult was captured in flagrante delicto while trying to evade the security controls of the Police station.

The woman, taking advantage of the food intake hour for people deprived of liberty, intended to deliver a package of marijuana camouflaged in an unconventional way: inside chicken eggs that had been carefully altered so as not to raise suspicions.

This type of microtrafficking, which uses basic foods to hide prohibited substances, was detected thanks to the experience of the police officers on duty in Usme.

The captured woman was left at the disposal of the Attorney General’s Office to answer for this attempt to bring drugs into a detention center.

Bogotá authorities have reinforced alerts in all police stations in the city, warning that food controls will be increasingly rigorous to prevent these types of ingenious maneuvers from allowing the flow of marijuana and other chemical substances into the cells, where security must be guaranteed.
