In the Primero de Mayo neighborhood of Soledad, Atlántico, a tragic event occurred when a man accused of having murdered his own daughter stabbed himself. The 32-year-old individual died on the night of Saturday, December 6, due to the injuries he caused himself after committing the crime.

Fontalvo Hernández remained under medical observation and guarded in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at a Clinic in Barranquilla. His death occurred around 10:30 pm last Saturday. Previously, the man had been captured and was in custody for the crime of homicide.

The violent event occurred when the minor’s mother arrived to pick up her seven-year-old daughter to spend a few days with her. Upon arriving at the home, the minor’s father refused to hand her over, at which point the aggressor took a knife and attacked the girl, causing fatal injuries to her neck.

After murdering his daughter, the deceased proceeded to self-harm, which is why he was taken to a healthcare center. Finally, the wounds inflicted proved fatal, ending the life of the man who is accused of committing the horrendous crime in the Primero de Mayo neighborhood.
