Minute30.com .- What began as a social gathering between acquaintances ended in tragedy on the afternoon of this Thursday, December 25. A man was murdered with a knife in the Nuevo Conquistadores sector, jurisdiction of the San Javier neighborhood, in western Medellín.

The events were recorded between 3:00 and 3:30 in the afternoon, when the victim was chatting with other people inside a home. According to eyewitness accounts, the tranquility of the party was broken by a complaint related to a cell phone.

According to unofficial versions, the deceased would have had a strong discussion with another of those attending the meeting; Apparently he entered the house visibly angry and it was at that moment that the alleged attacker approached him and stabbed him several times in the chest.

The victim, who was said to have resided in the municipality of San Pedro, did not survive due to the severity of his injuries. Despite the flow of people in the sector due to the Christmas festivities, the attacker managed to leave the site after committing the crime.

The murderer would be identified

Although the identity of the alleged murderer is already known, as of the closing of this note, no official arrests have been reported by the Metropolitan Police.

Units from the Sijín and the CTI carried out the technical inspection of the body at the site.

It is expected that the arrest warrant will be issued in the next few hours so that the person responsible can be brought to justice.

The authorities reiterate the call to resolve differences through dialogue and not violence.
