Minute30.com .- A dramatic episode of domestic violence was recorded in the Santa Cruz neighborhood, in the northeast of Medellín, where a 65-year-old woman was seriously injured after being attacked by her own daughter-in-law. The incident, which occurred inside the family home, has the older adult under prognosis booked into a care center.

According to witness accounts, the situation was triggered during a heated argument between the woman’s son and her romantic partner.

From verbal aggression to tragedy

Upon noticing the strong dispute, the mother-in-law tried to mediate and asked them to stop arguing to maintain peace at home. However, far from calming down, the daughter-in-law reacted violently:

They say that initially the aggressor insulted the elderly woman with degrading words; In the midst of fury, the daughter-in-law kicked him hard, causing the victim to lose his balance.

The 65-year-old woman rolled down the stairs of the home, suffering multiple traumas that forced her immediate transfer to the emergency room.
