Mayor Federico Gutiérrez presented this Wednesday the total modernization project for the Atanasio Girardot stadium.
This will be an intervention that, according to the District Administration, will position it as one of the best sports venues in America.

The District Administration will invest more than $750,000 million in the renovation, with all of the financing coming from public resources.
Of this figure, $643,000 million will be allocated to the stage itself, and the rest to the sports, technology, mobility and urban planning unit.
Among the most significant interventions is the increase in capacity that will go from 45,400 to 60,000 people, an increase of 33%.
This increase will be achieved with the construction of a third level in the stands with new and more comfortable seating.
