The investigative actions carried out by the Attorney General’s Office allowed the prosecution of a man for his alleged responsibility in the crime of his 36-year-old former partner, in La Dorada (Caldas).
In that sense, he was charged with the crime of aggravated femicide and a guarantee control judge imposed a security measure on him in a prison.
The events took place on November 21 in the Guarinocito town center, where the man allegedly arrived at the victim’s workplace and attacked her with a sharp weapon.
The woman was taken to a hospital where she died due to the severity of her injuries.
The capture of the person involved was carried out on November 24 in a coordinated effort between servers of the Technical Investigation Corps (CTI) and uniformed members of the National Police, in La Dorada (Caldas), after being treated at a care center for the wounds he sustained.
