In a case that shocks the Prado Centro neighborhood of Medellín, a guarantee control judge imposed a security measure in prison on Isaac González, an 18-year-old young man, investigated for his alleged responsibility in an attack on the life of his own brother. The decision was adopted at the request of the Attorney General’s Office.
According to the judicial police report, the events occurred on December 30, when the victim allegedly entered González’s home to attack him. During the confrontation, both left the building and, according to the investigation, the young man had caused a wound in his brother’s chest with a sharp weapon.

The victim was immediately taken to a health center, where he received life-saving medical attention. Due to the severity of the injury, he was granted a 40-day medical-legal disability, according to medical records.
In the course of the judicial process, González did not accept the charges brought against him by the Prosecutor’s Office for the crime of attempted aggravated homicide. The case remains under investigation, while authorities analyze all the circumstances surrounding the fight.
