Minute30.com .- A man was captured in the last few hours in the Barrios Unidos sector, after participating in an armed confrontation with uniformed members of the National Police. The intervention occurred after a citizen alert about a subject in a suspicious attitude on the bike path in the Patria neighborhood.

When alerted through line 123, the uniformed officers immediately moved to the area. Upon noticing the police presence, the citizen began to flee, and immediately afterwards, he unholstered a revolver-type firearm and fired it at the police officers.

Thanks to the expertise of the uniformed officers, the man was captured. At the time of the arrest, the revolver was seized, which, according to the authorities, was intended to be used to rob bicycle users who were traveling along the bike path. The captured person and the seized weapon were left at the disposal of the competent authority.
