Minute30.com .- The president of the United States, Donald Trump, arrived in Tel Aviv this Monday, October 13, on a trip with high diplomatic impact. His arrival occurs in the middle of the emotional day in which the terrorist group Hamas is handing over the first Israeli hostages.

Trump, who was key in the negotiation that allowed the release of 20 live hostages and the bodies of 28 deceased in exchange for nearly 2,000 Palestinian prisoners, landed in Tel Aviv after a flight of approximately eight hours from Washington.

At the airport, the American president was received by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. In addition, the American delegation included his daughter, Ivanka Trump, accompanied by her husband.

President Trump is expected to meet with some of the hostages who have been released and their respective families, seeking to reaffirm US support for Israel following the brutal attack on October 7, 2023.
