Minute30.com .- The tranquility of the Robledo sector was shaken on the morning of this Tuesday, January 6, after the discovery of the lifeless body of a 20-year-old girl, of Venezuelan nationality, inside her home. This case becomes the first violent act against a woman recorded in the metropolitan area at the beginning of the year.

The victim, who had lived in Colombia for seven years, was found by his own relatives, who went to the property concerned after receiving no response to their calls for several hours.

Scene with signs of violence

When they managed to enter the house, those close to them came across the horrendous scene. According to unofficial versions, both the body of the young woman, presumably with her throat cut, as well as the surroundings of the room presented clear evidence of violence, which would initially rule out a death due to natural or accidental causes.

According to references from residents of the sector, the young woman worked in a bar at night and lived alone a few days ago, since a friend with whom she shared the home had moved house last Sunday.

Authorities carried out the technical inspection of the corpse and the collection of evidentiary material to determine the mechanics of the crime.

This is the first crime against a woman in the Aburrá Valley this year.

Authorities are seeking to identify possible suspects who had entered the home in the hours prior to the discovery. The body was transferred to Forensic Medicine to establish the exact causes of death.
