In the early hours of this Friday, December 19, an accident occurred when an alleged drunk driver collided with an ambulance on 33rd Street, in Medellín.
The incident occurred around 4:10 in the morning and, although the crash was dramatic, no injuries were reported.
According to the preliminary information collected by the traffic authorities, at the height of the sector known as INCODOL, in an east-west direction.
Two vehicles were involved at the scene: a private car and an ambulance that was parked while carrying out a procedure related to medical care.
Apparently, the driver would have lost control of the vehicle, which led to the direct collision with the ambulance and later ending up against a separator.

Mobility units and traffic agents were present in the area to secure the area, regulate traffic and advance the technical report of the accident.
The case was left in the hands of the competent organizations, which will evaluate possible administrative and criminal sanctions, depending on the results of the tests and the official report of the procedure.
