The Colombian National Team held its first training session this Wednesday, November 12, with the full group of 26 players in Fort Lauderdale, preparing for the FIFA double date.

This meeting marked the formal start of on-field activities, allowing the coaching staff to work with all those summoned.

The practice day began with a first part dedicated to prevention and flexibility, fundamental exercises for the physical care of athletes.

After that, the team headed to the field to focus on technique and tactics. They began with various passing wheels, applying and reinforcing key concepts of the collective game such as the third man and the walls.

Subsequently, the intensity increased with an exercise in a small space. This segment was focused on polishing two crucial aspects of the modern game: possession of the ball and immediate pressure after losing it.

This tactical work seeks to ensure that the team maintains discipline in the structure of the game and speed in recovery.

To end the session, the coaching staff arranged a full-field soccer practice.

This activity was divided into three blocks of 12 minutes each, allowing the general performance of the players to be evaluated and to begin to outline possible formations and movements for the upcoming international challenges.
