The Colombian Police, in coordination with Interpol, captured in Puente Nacional, Santander, a citizen with dual Colombian-Spanish nationality who was wanted by Spanish judicial authorities for the crime of sexual assault of a minor.

According to official information, the detainee is accused of having sexually abused his ex-partner’s daughter during a period of eight years, between 2009 and 2016, in Spanish and Canadian territory. The capture was carried out after a Red Notice issued by INTERPOL, an international mechanism that allows the location and detention of people wanted by the justice system of other countries.
