The South American Football Confederation has defined the roadmap for the Copa América Men’s Futsal 2026, which will take place in Paraguay from January 24 to February 1.
In the official draw, the Colombian National Team was placed in Group B, a highly demanding area where it must face the powers of Brazil, Venezuela, Chile and Bolivia.
For its part, Group A was made up of the host Paraguay, along with Argentina, Uruguay, Peru and Ecuador.
The competition format establishes a Group Phase under the “all against all” system with a single wheel.
The path to the South American throne: Colombia will face Brazil in the Copa América de Futsal 2026
In this instance, precision will be essential for the Colombian quintet, since only the two best teams from each zone will achieve a direct ticket to the semifinals to fight for the continental title.
The teams that do not qualify will play additional matches to define the positions from fifth to ninth in the final ranking.
With the calendar already confirmed, the national teams begin their final phase of preparation for one of the most intense events on the sports calendar.
Colombia will seek to impose its style of play in a group led by the always favorite Brazil, with the firm objective of reaching the final rounds and consolidating itself as one of the futsal leaders in the region.
