This Friday, the Colombian delegation had a tremendous day at the XX Bolivarian Games Ayacucho – Lima 2025, with a historic harvest of medals that leaves it one step away from securing the overall title of the tournament.
The golds came overwhelmingly in disciplines such as baseball, road cycling, athletics, golf, karate, tennis and bowling, consolidating the tricolor dominance.
With this unforgettable performance, Colombia remains firmly at the top of the medal table with 130 golds, 112 silvers and 76 bronzes, for a total of 318 medals. Their escort, Venezuela, has 101 golds (291 in total). A Golden Baseball and Absolute Dominion on the Road.

Colombia closed the tournament undefeated with six wins, confirming the dream title against the local team.
In road cycling, the scene was historically dominant. In the women’s distance event (110 km), Colombia achieved an impressive 1–2–3 with Juliana Londoño (gold), Lina Hernández (silver) and Diana Peñuela (bronze). They shared the podium with the same time of 2:46:53.
María José Marín was proclaimed Bolivarian champion in the women’s singles with a total of -12. In addition, the mixed team won silver.
Emily Minante took the gold medal in the women’s only final with 336.08 points, adding a new title in the water.
Track and field were extremely productive. Billy Julio won gold in the javelin throw with 81.99m. Carlos Sanmartín took gold in the 3,000m steeplechase.
Karate responded with gold in the Kumite tests: Juan Felipe Landázuri was crowned champion in the men’s 75 kg, and the women’s team Kata trio (Montes, Cardona, Castaño) also took the top award.
In table tennis, the female duo of Ana Isaza – Juliana Lozada won gold in doubles.
Field tennis had its revenge in the men’s doubles, where Juan Sebastián Gómez and Alejandro Arcila beat the Peruvian duo 2-1 to win the gold.
Finally, in bowling, the women’s team (Rodríguez, Franco, Botero and Duque) won decisively to win the gold medal, while the men’s team won the silver.
