The Colombian delegation closed a historic day in the BMX Freestyle of the XX Bolivarian Games Ayacucho – Lima 2025, demonstrating absolute dominance in the discipline.

With a balance of two gold medals, one silver and one bronze, the national athletes established themselves as the power to beat at the Costa Verde Complex, raising the name of the country and exceeding expectations on each tour.

The path to success began on Sunday with the qualifying events, where Colombian athletes showed their potential.

In the female branch, the sisters Queen Saray Villegas (72.05) and Lizsurley Villegas (71.95) took the first two places.

The men were not far behind: Luis Rincón qualified in first position with 86.64 points, while Sebastián Cuéllar secured a place in the final in third place, with a score of 79.53.

The grand final was held this Monday, November 24, and delivered the greatest emotions, with two routes for each competitor.

In the women’s category, Queen Saray Villegas confirmed her favoritism by taking the gold medal with a score of 75.00.

Her sister Lizsurley joined the podium with the bronze medal (70.00), leaving the silver for the Chilean Catalina Henríquez (74.00), in a close competition that highlighted the high level.

Finally, the men’s team completed the national feat with another double on the podium. Luis Rincón took gold with an impressive performance that earned him 91.66 points, while his compatriot Sebastián Cuéllar secured the silver medal with a solid 89.00.

The podium was closed by local Job Arnol Montañez with the bronze (81.00). With these results, Colombia ends its participation in the BMX Freestyle with a balance of four medals, reaffirming its Bolivarian hegemony.
