Colombia has surpassed the impressive barrier of 100 gold medals at the XX Bolivarian Games Ayacucho and Lima 2025, consolidating its dominance in the general medal table.

At the close of business this Wednesday, December 3, the country accumulated a total of 107 gold medals, adding 92 silver and 63 bronze, for a grand total of 263.

This notable performance was reflected in various disciplines, including athletics, track cycling, rhythmic gymnastics, judo, bowling, futsal, equestrian and triathlon.

Athletics and track cycling were pillars in the day’s gold harvest. On the track, Colombia won five more titles thanks to the performances of Hellen Tenorio, Lina Licona, Damaris Palomeque and the powerful men’s and women’s 4×100 relays.

For its part, the Videna Velodrome witnessed the golds of Stefany Cuadrado in speed and Kevin Quintero in keirin, allowing the national delegation to dominate track cycling with nine golds out of a possible twelve, a balance that amounts to 16 medals in total for the discipline.

Other disciplines also contributed significantly to the milestone. Rhythmic gymnastics celebrated the victory of Oriana Viñas, who took the individual All-around gold with 102.140 points, in addition to leading the individual team final along with Emiliana Vargas and Natalia Drezeer.
