The Colombian delegation intensifies its participation in the XX Bolivarian Games Ayacucho-Lima 2025, marking this Wednesday, December 3, the start of competitions in five crucial disciplines.

National athletes will debut in open water, bowling, skateboarding, triathlon and beach volleyball, promising a day full of action and medal opportunities.

These new additions to the events calendar will take place in several prominent venues in Lima, with the expectation placed on the figures that represent the country in each sport.

Among the debutants, several names resonate strongly, including athletes with Olympic experience and world champions.

In skateboarding, the Costa Verde Pan American Complex will host Olympian Jhancarlos González, who leads the delegation of four skaters in the park and street events until Thursday.

For her part, world champion María José Rodríguez is the main reference in bowling, where eight bowlers will seek success at the Videna Bowling Center until Friday.

The triathlon will also have a renowned figure in María Carolina Velásquez, a Paris 2024 participant, who along with five other triathletes will compete on Agua Dulce Beach in individual events, pairs and mixed relays.

Finally, beach volleyball and open water complete the list of debuts. Beach volleyball, with a men’s and a women’s team (four athletes in total), will share its headquarters with skateboarding in Costa Verde, extending its competitions until next Sunday.

Regarding open waters, the Bujama Lacus Nautical Club will host the only Colombian representative, Freddy Alejandro Arévalo, who will participate in the 5 and 10 kilometer tests this Wednesday and Friday, respectively.

With the incorporation of these disciplines, Colombia seeks to consolidate its position in the general medal table, driven by the talent and experience of its athletes in these multidisciplinary events.
