Colombia marks a milestone in its participation in the XX Bolivarian Games Ayacucho-Lima 2025, making its official debut in the E-Sports competitions.

The tests will take place at the Eduardo Dibós Dammert Coliseum, starting this Friday, November 21, where the country will have representation in two disciplines of the men’s branch.

The competitions in which Colombia will debut are eFootball (individual mode) and Dota 2 (team mode), demonstrating the progress and seriousness with which the national delegation assumes the competitive panorama of electronic sports.

The expectation is high, given the precedent of success that Colombian representatives have in previous competitions.

In the Dota 2 competition, the national team is made up of Juan Andrés Robayo, Juan David Sandoval, Nicolás Aldana, Leonardo Arturo Sáenz and Juan David Quintero.

This quintet arrives with a solid base, having won the bronze medal in the last Bolivarian Games of the Bicentennial Ayacucho 2024.

The teams will face each other in a round-robin format, seeking a direct berth to the final or bronze.

On the other hand, in the individual discipline of eFootball, Colombia will have the participation of Ángel Felipe García, who will compete on PlayStation 5 consoles. García also brings with him valuable experience, having finished in second place in Ayacucho 2024.

The group stage will take place in two random groups, and the best will advance to the bracket stages, with best-of-three matchups.

The competition calendar establishes that this Friday the 21st the group stage and semi-finals of eFootball will take place.

The Dota 2 group stage will be played on Sunday, and the finals for both E-Sports disciplines, which will define the medalists, are scheduled to take place next Monday.
