A joint operation between the Police Sijín and the Bogotá Security Secretariat allowed the dismantling of a clandestine storage and packaging center for adulterated liquor in the town of Bosa, specifically in the Jiménez de Quesada sector.

The diligence was carried out in compliance with an order issued by the local Prosecutor’s Office 534, within the framework of an investigation into trafficking, manufacturing or possession of narcotics. The uniformed officers entered a business where the hidden warehouse was located, as well as a nearby bar, coordinating the intervention at two points linked to the investigation.

Inside the Pagadiario, investigators found a conditioned space next to the stairs that functioned as a production center for adulterated liquor. There were bags with empty bottles, beer cans, dozens of lids, papers with fake stamps, tanks and grameras. In addition, 341 bottles of adulterated liquor were found ready for distribution, organized by brands and ready to be sealed.

In total, authorities seized 350 adulterated bottles, 70 fake stamps and numerous empty caps and bottles, all aimed at deceiving consumers and marketing fraudulent liquor that puts public health at risk.
