The Attorney General’s Office issued a statement of charges against the patrolman of the Bucaramanga Metropolitan Police (MEBUC), Carlos Steven Cantor Sánchez, for allegedly causing a traffic accident and fleeing the scene.

The Disciplinary Entity verifies whether the investigated person, for the period 2024, would have collided on his motorcycle with another vehicle in degree 3 of drunkenness, in the Buenos Aires neighborhood, apparently injuring two adults and a minor.

Therefore, the Bucaramanga Provincial Attorney’s Office verifies whether the uniformed man, who at the time of the events was the driver of the group of auxiliaries, violated the principles of morality and responsibility established in the law.

Due to the above, the Public Ministry provisionally classified the alleged misconduct of the official as very serious, by way of fraud.
