The environmental authorities rescued the dog ‘Jack’, approximately four months old, in a residential unit located in Loma de los Bernal.
The intervention occurred after the National Police, in coordination with the District Animal Protection Inspection, responded to a citizen call alerting about a possible case of abuse in the place.
The community provided several videos showing behaviors that generated fear and obvious stress in the canine, which activated the immediate response of the authorities. After arriving at the site, the owner allowed the uniformed officers to enter, who confirmed the information provided and carried out the preventive material seizure of the animal, as established by the domestic fauna control act.
The puppy Jack was initially assessed by the veterinary medical team of the Carabineros and Environmental Protection Section, which verified his state of health and the need to move him to a safe environment.
