An unstoppable streak has taken Caimanes del Llano to the top of the standings of the Colombian Professional Basketball League 2025-II.

The Villavicencio team took first place after achieving a crucial double victory against Caribbean Storm during the league activity that took place between Friday, October 31 and Monday, November 3.

Caimanes del Llano has accumulated 17 points, the product of seven wins in ten games played, highlighting its impressive streak of four consecutive victories that has allowed it to lead the national competition.

The standings are very tight at the top. Toros del Valle shares the same 17 units as the leader, placing itself in second position by tiebreaker criteria.

In third place is Paisas with 15 points (six wins in nine appearances), and in fourth place is Caribbean Storm with five wins in ten outings.

The playoff classification zone is completed by Sabios de Manizales in fifth place with 14 points. Further down the general table are Cimarrones with 11 units and Motilones closing with 10.

The format of the championship establishes that at the end of the first phase, the teams that finish in first and second place will ensure their direct passage to the semifinals.

The Colombian professional basketball action does not stop, and this Tuesday, November 4, brings with it two exciting confrontations.

At the La Caldera Coliseum in Quibdó, Cimarrones del Chocó and Motilones will compete from 6:30 in the afternoon. Later, starting at 8:15 pm, the Iván de Bedout Coliseum in Medellín will witness the duel between Paisas and Sabios de Manizales.

These matches will be key to rearrange the positions in the middle of the table and bring the teams closer to their qualification objectives.
