The emergency generated by the avalanche in Silvania continues to leave devastating consequences. The Cundinamarca Departmental Fire Department confirmed the discovery of the lifeless body of Manuela Sofía, a 16-year-old teenager who had been reported missing since last Monday, November 17, when a sudden flood destroyed the vehicle in which she was traveling with her family.
According to the relief agencies, the body of the minor was located a few kilometers from Club del Bosque, in a stretch of the river that crosses the Las Granjas area, one of the sectors where search efforts are concentrated due to the significant increase in flow.
Units of the National Army, members of the Ponalsar Group and the Silvania Fire Department remain in the area, who continue to carry out operations to locate the two women who are still missing.

According to known information, the minor was traveling in a private car with four members of her family. When they were passing through the Los Altos ravine, a sudden avalanche in the Yayata Las Villas ravine swept them away without giving them a chance to react.
A 25-year-old woman managed to survive after being ejected from the vehicle by the force of the water. Miguel, who was found dead a few hours after the tragedy, did not suffer the same fate.
The authorities continue the search for Ana Lucía and Teresa, the two women who remain missing.
