The District Mobility Secretariat will implement different control operations for four consecutive days: Thursday, October 30 and Friday, October 31, Saturday, November 1 and Sunday, November 2.
The device will have all traffic agents, deployed in more than 10 strategic points in Cali, with the aim of guaranteeing the safety of all road actors during the Halloween celebrations.
As a central measure, preventive closures will be carried out – depending on the monitoring of the situation – in the sinkholes on Colombia Avenue and in Comfandi El Prado, with an estimated schedule from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am the next day, during the four days of the operation. These closures seek to control vehicular traffic and prevent risk situations in various areas of the city.
The operation will focus especially on the control of unauthorized caravans that circulate through the city, with special attention to vehicles with covered license plates, drivers and passengers without helmets or reflective clothing, or those who speed.

The Secretary of District Mobility, Gustavo Orozco, called on citizens to live these festivities responsibly. “We invite the people of Cali to celebrate without putting their lives or the lives of others at risk. Using a helmet is essential to preserve life, in the case of motorcyclists. And remind them that those who commit acts that put the lives of other people at risk will be punished,” he emphasized.
