Thousands of travelers return this Monday, November 3, to Bogotá after the All Saints’ Day holiday weekend, so the district authorities implemented special mobility measures to facilitate entry into the capital and avoid congestion in the main corridors.

Among the most important measures are the regional peak and license plate and the reversible one on Carrera Séptima, strategies that seek to improve vehicle flow during the return.

Reversible by the Seventh race

The reversible one applies between 245th Street and 183rd Street, and converts the entire road into a single north-south direction. The measure applies between 4:30 pm and 8:00 or 9:00 pm, depending on the volume of traffic.

With this action, the Ministry of Mobility seeks to speed up the transit of vehicles coming from municipalities such as Chía and La Calera, one of the most congested areas during holiday weekends.

Peak and regional plate to enter Bogotá

The regional peak and plate restriction also operates this holiday Monday for entering the city through the main corridors:

• From 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm, only vehicles whose license plate ends in an even number (0, 2, 4, 6 and 8) can enter.

• From 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, entry is allowed only for cars with license plates ending in an odd number (1, 3, 5, 7 and 9).

Before 12:00 pm and after 8:00 pm, there is no restriction, and all vehicles can enter without limitation.
