Minute30.com .- Mauricio Vanoy Bohórquez, 43 years old, died in the last hours in Medellín, after debating between life and death for four days, after being the victim of a hitman attack in the northwest of the city.
The attack occurred on November 21, 2025, at approximately 9:33 pm Vanoy Bohórquez and a woman were traveling in a vehicle in the La Iguaná sector, in the San Germán neighborhood, when they were surprised by hitmen who shot them repeatedly.
Both occupants of the vehicle were rushed to a hospital. However, due to the severity of his injuries, Mauricio Vanoy Bohórquez died on November 24, 2025 at 4:20 p.m.
The victim was the nephew of the former paramilitary “Cuco Vanoy.”

They abandoned the motorcycle
The authorities have made progress in the investigation of the hitman attack that claimed the life of Mauricio Vanoy Bohórquez. After the attack, those responsible fled towards Commune 13, specifically to the Betania sector.
Hours after the crime, uniformed Metropolitan Police found an abandoned motorcycle. According to first verifications, this vehicle would have been used by the hitmen to carry out the attack.
The motorcycle remained in the custody of the authorities and will be subjected to the relevant criminalistics analysis to collect evidence that will allow the identification and capture of those responsible for the homicide.

Condition of the Companion: The woman who was traveling with him in the front seat was also injured, receiving a shot in the jaw. Although she entered the hospital in a delicate state of health, the doctors managed to stabilize her.
