In a display of authority and territorial control, the National Army carried out operational actions in the Barrio Antioquia sector, which made it possible to affect the criminal structures that operate in this area of the city.
These interventions are part of a strategy to restore tranquility in critical points and strengthen the institutional presence in the territory.
The Secretary of Security and Coexistence, Manuel Villa Mejía, highlighted that during the operations, narcotics and ammunition of different calibers were seized, hitting criminal income that affects the security of the sector. Likewise, a person was captured in flagrante delicto and was placed at the disposal of the competent authorities.

Additionally, the authorities seized gunpowder and explosive material, a key action for risk prevention during the holiday season and for the protection of the community.
