Colombian football is preparing to experience the outcome of the BetPlay DIMAYOR II 2025 League.

This Tuesday, December 16, Deportes Tolima will host Junior FC at the Manuel Murillo Toro stadium in Ibagué starting at 7:30 pm, in the second leg match that will define the champion of the second semester.

The match comes with a notable advantage for the Barranquilla team, which won the first leg decisively with a score of 3-0, forcing the ‘Pijao’ team to look for an epic comeback at home.

Given the importance and high level of demand that a match of this magnitude implies, the Arbitration Commission of the Colombian Football Federation (FCF) announced the list of referees in charge of administering justice in this crucial commitment.

The appointment fell to an experienced team of judges, seeking to guarantee the greatest impartiality and accuracy in the decisions made on the field of play.

Arbitration appointments defined for the grand final of the BetPlay League II-2025

The central defender chosen to direct the actions is Andrés Rojas, from the Bogotá arbitration board, a regular figure in key national soccer matches.

He will be assisted on the wings by Alexander Guzmán, representative of Norte de Santander, and Jhon Gallego, from the department of Caldas, as 1 and 2 respectively.

José Ortiz, also from Norte de Santander, was appointed as the fourth referee, thus completing the quartet on the field.

Finally, and as is usual in decisive instances, VAR technology will play a fundamental role.

The system will be under the supervision of Leonard Mosquera, from the department of Antioquia, who will serve as the main VAR, and Paula Fernández, from Bogotá, in the role of AVAR.

The formation of this referee list seeks to ensure a transparent development in accordance with the rules for the grand final that will crown the last champion of the year.
