This Saturday, January 31, roller hockey in Antioquia officially resumes its competitive activity with the 2026 Super Cup.

This contest, which has already established itself as a tradition in the region, pits the teams that were crowned champions of the Antioquia Cup in each of the 2025 semesters against each other to define the best of the year in a unique duel.

The sports day will take place at the Pan-American Court of the Antioquia Skating League.

In addition to the importance of the title, this event will serve to officially inaugurate the recent renovations carried out by INDER Medellín in this emblematic venue.

Antioquia roller hockey opens its 2026 season with the Super Cup

Julián Osorno Cardona, president of the League, highlighted that starting the departmental calendar in a renewed setting provides a special framework for the competition.

The definition of the Super Cup will take place in two men’s categories at 3:30 pm in the Under-19 category, Sabaneta HC vs. Super Skate men.

On the other hand at 4:30 pm in the Senior category, Sabaneta HC vs. Super Patín San Pío.

This event serves as the perfect prelude to the start of the Copa Antioquia, the semi-annual championship that remains a national benchmark.

Thanks to this tournament system, the Antioquia Skating League guarantees that the affiliated clubs maintain a constant pace of competition throughout the year.
