The CFMOTO Inde Aspar Team rider had a debut in Moto2 in Valencia marked by difficulty.
In the afternoon training session, which took place with better track conditions, Alonso suffered a fall before reaching the halfway point of the session.

Although he was able to rejoin, the incident diminished his chances of improving his record.
Finally, David Alonso finished the day in twenty-first position with a time of 1:33.112, 0.704 seconds behind the leader, his teammate Holgado.
This position means that the Colombian will have to fight in Q1 this Saturday to ensure a good starting position in the last race of the year.
