In the Buenos Aires sector, in the east of Medellín, residents express growing concern about the presence of an alleged gang that, according to citizen complaints, would be dedicated to the theft of motorcycles during night hours.
Neighbors assure that the group would act in a coordinated manner, taking advantage of the low influx of people to intercept the motorcyclists. According to these versions, the subjects would surround their victims in a matter of seconds, which has generated fear and alert in the community.

The complaints indicate that the alleged criminals would move in groups and, apparently, would use firearms to intimidate the motorcyclists and force them to hand over their vehicles.

A video circulating among residents shows what would be one of these attacks. In the recording, several subjects are observed approaching a motorcyclist “in a pack”, threatening him with a firearm, stripping him of his belongings and fleeing with the motorcycle. The community affirms that this type of events would be becoming recurrent.
Neighbors ask the Metropolitan Police to reinforce patrols in the area and increase surveillance actions to prevent these events from continuing to affect the tranquility of the neighborhood.
