The Colombian capital is preparing to host one of its most beloved and anticipated events: the Alimentarte Food Festival. Organized by the Corazón Verde Foundation, the event returns to El Country Park for two consecutive weekends (February 7, 8, 14 and 15), promising a sensory journey that goes from the flavors of the Altiplano to the culinary secrets of the Amazon.
With a projection of 40,000 attendees, this special anniversary edition will celebrate national diversity divided into nine major gastronomic regions. Visitors will be able to enjoy an unprecedented offering that includes 70 of the city’s best restaurants, such as Crepes & Waffles, Teriyaki, Rogelio Red Tacos and Le BBQ, along with traditional chefs and 40 local businesses.
A feast with a social sense
Beyond being a banquet for the palate, Alimentarte consolidates itself as a tool for transformation. All surpluses generated are destined to the programs of the Corazón Verde Foundation, which supports widows, orphans of police officers and uniformed personnel with disabilities. In its more than two decades of history, the festival has facilitated the delivery of 370 housing solutions and funded the education of more than 8,600 children.
Experiences for all the senses
The festival is not only about food; El Country Park will be adapted to offer a complete family experience:
