An accident that occurred at the Bogotá Transportation Terminal, Salitre headquarters, left a user seriously injured on Sunday, November 23, 2025. The incident occurred when a bus covering the Bogotá – Acacías route at 6:30 am was traveling through the operational area and the passenger was ejected through one of the side windows of the vehicle.

The user was taken to a medical center, where he was diagnosed with head trauma and closed chest trauma. The Terminal maintains permanent support for the family of the affected person and provided immediate attention after the incident.

Preliminary verifications indicate that the bus had the current usage rate and that the driver had tested negative in the breathalyzer test, although he was traveling above the speed limits established within the operational zone, set at 20 km/h. The Bogotá Traffic Police made a sketch of the accident and immobilized the vehicle.

The case was sent to the Superintendency of Transportation, which will investigate the company and the driver, while the Attorney General’s Office is also carrying out actions within the framework of its powers.

As part of its road safety program, the Terminal continues to install speed monitoring cameras to monitor traffic, detect unsafe maneuvers and apply corrective measures immediately.

The Bogotá Transportation Terminal expressed its deep regret for what happened and reiterated its solidarity with the passenger and his family, trusting in his speedy recovery.
