Colombian swimming races continue their triumphant streak at the XX Bolivarian Games Ayacucho – Lima 2025, leaving a golden mark at the Videna Aquatic Center.
On a memorable day, swimmers Stefanía Gómez and Jasmin Pistelli, along with the powerful women’s 4×100 freestyle relay team, rose to the top of the podium, demonstrating the country’s supremacy in the region.
These three golds were the highlight of a performance that also added multiple silvers and bronzes.
The individual victories came from Jasmin Pistelli and Stefanía Gómez. Pistelli won the 200 meter backstroke with a time of 2:13.91, beating local Alexia Sotomayor.
For her part, specialist Stefanía Gómez did not disappoint in her favorite event, the 50 meter breaststroke, clocking 31.79 to win the gold, leaving Venezuelan Mercedes Toledo behind.
These results reaffirmed the individual quality of the Colombian athletes in the competition.
The final touch of the day was the women’s 4×100 meter freestyle relay, made up of Isabella Bedoya, Karen Durango, Tiffany Murillo and Sirena Rowe.

This quartet not only won the gold medal, but they did so by setting a new Bolivarian record with a mark of 3:47.69.
In addition to the gold medals, the national delegation won four silver medals (Tiffany Murillo, Samantha Baños, David Arias and Juan Daniel García) and two bronze medals (Jorge Mario Murillo and the men’s 4×100 relay), adding a total of nine medals.
With this impressive balance of three golds, four silvers and two bronzes, the Colombian delegation finished the penultimate day of swimming consolidating its position in the medal table.
The excitement continues for the closing day this Wednesday, where key events will be held such as the 200 m butterfly, 50 m freestyle, 400 m freestyle and the 4×100 m combined relay.
Colombian swimming will seek to say goodbye to the most successful games and ratify its great sporting moment.
