Minute30.com .- An act of violence that appears to be unrelated to the victim left a 22-year-old young man seriously injured in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Medellín. The incident occurred around 11:25 in the morning on Tuesday, January 6, in a commercial sector in the northeast of the city.

The victim, a resident of the Campo Valdés neighborhood, was carrying out a daily and family task before being hit by gunfire in the east of Medellín.

According to the testimony of those close to him, “el pelao” took his mother to a hair salon in Buenos Aires. While she was waiting to be attended to, he decided to go buy a juice at a nearby store. His mother asked him to bring one for her too.

When the young man was in the commercial establishment making the purchase, armed individuals began to shoot indiscriminately at other people who were in the place.

It is presumed that the young man was trapped between the aggressor and his true objective; receiving several gunshot wounds without having any relationship with the attackers or the intended victims.

Those who know him say that the young man has no outstanding debts, death threats or known enemies. Even the manager of the establishment where the attack occurred recognized the 22-year-old as a frequent and respectful customer.

The victim was immediately helped and transferred to a nearby healthcare center, where his prognosis is reserved.

This case of attempted homicide under the guise of an innocent victim has generated strong rejection among the residents of Buenos Aires.
