A routine control operation at Medellín’s South Terminal ended with the capture of a 28-year-old man who was transporting dangerous weapons and drugs.
The alleged distributor was intercepted by uniformed members of the National Police in the Campo Amor neighborhood, just when he was outside the southern terminal, raising suspicions among the authorities who were carrying out surveillance and registration work.
When conducting a voluntary search, the agents discovered that the subject was carrying two pistols in his bag with their respective magazines and cartridges, ready to be fired. However, the surprise was greater when finding the shipment that the alleged distributor planned to sell: nearly 3,000 grams of marijuana, 30 doses of cocaine and 13 bottles of liquid synthetic drugs.
