In a joint operation between the Police and the CTI of the Prosecutor’s Office, the authorities managed to capture a 30-year-old man accused of committing a heinous crime against a barely 12-year-old student.
The subject, who was responsible for the financial area of a school in Bogotá, would have used his position of power and trust to perpetrate the abuse on December 5.
After weeks of fleeing from justice, he was located and detained in the municipality of Soacha, Cundinamarca.
Through deception, he took the minor to this room, which he always kept locked, and there he would have committed the sexual abuse.
To ensure the victim’s silence, the aggressor threatened to kill her, warning her that she would harm her family if she dared to tell what happened, taking advantage of the girl’s emotional vulnerability.

The tragedy came to light thanks to the bravery of a family member, who noticed that the little girl was experiencing severe pain in her private part. When she was transferred to a hospital, the doctors confirmed the suspicions and immediately activated the “White Code”, the comprehensive and priority care protocol for victims of sexual violence in Colombia.

This step was essential to collect the biological and testimonial evidence that today supports the accusation for this outrageous case of aggravated violent carnal abuse.
A judge of the Republic, given the forcefulness of the evidence presented by the Prosecutor’s Office, issued a measure of security in prison for the person involved.
The man must answer for the crimes of violent carnal access aggravated in competition with abusive carnal access with a minor under 14 years of age.
The educational and judicial authorities called on parents to be alert to any change in behavior in their children, while investigating whether there were more victims within the institution where the captured person carried out his duties.
