Minute30.com .- The week of grace begins. Mayor Federico “Fico” Gutiérrez reminded all the inhabitants of the Aburrá Valley that this Monday, February 2, the new rotation of the Pico y Placa comes into effect for the first half of 2026.

The measure seeks to improve mobility in the 10 municipalities of the metropolitan area and applies under the following conditions:

First Semester 2026

Monday 1 and 7
Tuesday 0 and 3
Wednesday 4th and 6th
Thursday 5th and 9th
Friday 2nd and 8th

Key details of the restriction

Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 5:00 am to 8:00 pm (continuous day).

Private Vehicles: Applies according to the last digit of the license plate.

Motorcycles (2 and 4 strokes): Applies according to the first digit of the license plate.

Fines and Sanctions

Remember that failure to comply with the restriction generates a financial penalty of 15 current legal daily minimum wages (SMDLV), which is equivalent to approximately $650,000 pesos, in addition to the possible immobilization of the vehicle.

It was confirmed that the exempt roads will remain the same.
