Minute30.com .- The streak of deaths of foreign citizens in Medellín does not give up. In the last few hours, the death of a 31-year-old man of American nationality was confirmed, who was helped after suffering a health crisis in the place where he was staying located in the south of the city.
Although the man was rushed to a clinic in the El Poblado sector, medical efforts were insufficient: the citizen arrived at the health center without vital signs.
The man had arrived in the capital of Antioquia on January 29 from the United States.
Unofficial versions indicated having heard the man talking on his cell phone several times in the early morning hours. Apparently, he was in a state of intoxication and was having a conversation with his wife, who resides in the United States.

Relatives of the victim, concerned after the last conversation, would have contacted the man’s friends in Medellín from abroad, asking them to go look for him because he told them that “he was feeling very bad.”
Upon entering the room, the citizen was found convulsing in the bathroom. He was immediately helped and taken to a clinic in the south of Medellín, where his death was confirmed.
Drug use?
Although the official cause of death will be determined by Forensic Medicine after the required autopsy, it is presumed that the death could be related to drug consumption, possibly mixed with alcohol.
