A 64-year-old doctor was captured and is about to be sent to prison after being caught trying to implant contraceptive devices that had expired almost a decade ago.
The fact was discovered thanks to the patient’s mother, who was suspicious of the professional’s actions and demanded to check the medication packaging before the procedure was completed.
According to the authorities’ report, the defendant today was reluctant to show the boxes of the implants at first. However, at the insistence of family members, the terrifying reality was confirmed: the subdermal rods that he intended to use had expiration dates that ranged between September 2017 and September 2022.
