Minute30.com .- The authorities are carrying out the investigation to clarify the death of a 68-year-old man, whose body was found in strange circumstances inside his home in the Manrique Oriental neighborhood. The case has generated shock among the neighbors, not only because of the discovery, but also because of the dark history of death threats that weighed on the victim.

The macabre discovery

The concern of his loved ones began when they stopped hearing from him since last Monday, January 19. Given the prolonged silence, his relatives went to the residence and, using a copy of the keys, entered the place.

The scene they found was heartbreaking: the older adult was lying lifeless on his bed, in a face-down position. Although a medical cause was initially considered, the medical examiner who attended the case did not certify the death as a natural death, which immediately activated the technical inspection protocol by criminalistics units.

The conflict behind ownership

One of the strongest hypotheses revolves around a real estate conflict that has tormented the man for a long time. According to testimonies, the deceased had been threatened for three years.

Apparently, the victim had sold the property where he was found dead, but he refused to hand it over, alleging that he had been deceived during the sales process. This legal and territorial dispute would have generated direct pressure and threats against him, which are now a key piece in the judicial investigation.

Cause of death: To be established

At the moment, both the exact manner and cause of death remain to be established. The body was taken to the Forensic Medicine headquarters for an autopsy, which will determine if there were signs of violence, asphyxiation or the use of any substance, given that there were no obvious wounds to the naked eye.
